BU Productions is located at 1817 Soquel Ave and provides custom screen printing services to socially conscious organizations, higher education institutions, and small businesses. BUP is more than a screen printing business; it is a space for vocational training, mentorship, and leadership development for youth, as well as a resource for community members to promote their message through apparel. BUP’s revenue supports its umbrella organization, Santa Cruz Barrios Unidos – an institute for peace and community development that has been in the Santa Cruz community since 1977. Through this, clients of BUP are not only able to receive quality service, but also contribute to a broader social justice movement and community development.
